Little Lizzy 2 Shoes Snack Recipes
Snacks must be supervised by an adult; for safety reasons and allergy possibilities.!
Snack #1………….Sunflower Surprise
Prep: Time 5 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
2 pieces of bread
Jam
Peanut butter
Sunflower seeds
Utensils:
Knife |

Directions:
Put peanut butter on both slices of bread and put jam on top of the peanut butter.
Sprinkle sunflower seeds on the jam.
Put jam sides together.
Cut the sandwich in 3 pieces to make fingers….otherwise known as rectangles.
Snack #2……..Boring Basic with a twist
Prep: Time 5 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
Butter or margarine
mayo
1 slice of white bread
1 slice of brown bread
1 slice of cheese
1 slice of ham
1 sliced apple
Relish
Utensils:
Knife |

Directions:
Spread one side of a slice of the bread with butter or margarine, then put relish on top of the butter.
Spread one side of the other slice with mayo.
Place the piece of cheese on the mayo slice….lay slices of apple on the cheese.
Place the piece of ham on the relish slice. Now slap the two together.
Cut from corner to corner. This will give you 4 triangles…which makes a square.
Snack #3…Decadent Dipper
Prep: Time 5 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 Oreo Cookie
Chocolate spread
Jam
Milk
Utensils:
Knife
Glass or cup |

Directions:
Pull the top off the cookie…spread chocolate on one half and jam on the other half.
Put the two half’s back together
Pour a glass of milk…dip and eat.
Snack #4……..Dizzy Lizzy Dipper
Prep: Time 5 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
2 chocolate chip cookies
Peanut butter
Marshmallow spread
Milk
Utensils:
Knife
Glass or cup |

Directions:
Turn the cookies upside down…put peanut butter on one…put marshmallow on the other…slap them together.
Pour a glass of milk…dip and eat.
Caution…do not eat more than 1
Snack #5…….Banana Nana Dipper
Prep: Time 5 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
Sunflower seeds
Banana
Vanilla yogurt cup
Utensils:

Directions:
Remove the skin from the banana and dip into the yogurt…then dip into sunflower seeds…then eat and repeat!
Finish all the banana. If there are any sunflower seed left, put them into the remaining yogurt and eat with a spoon.
Snack #6………Choco-apple Dipper
Prep: Time 5 minutes ( have an adult help )

Ingredients:
1 apple
Chocolate spread
Utensils:

Directions:
Slice apple into several thin slices…dip a slice into the chocolate spread and eat. Repeat as desired.
Snack #7……..Mixed up Fruity Salad
Prep: Time 5 - 7 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 Orange
1 Banana
1 large strawberry
1/8cup shredded coconut
1/4cup Vanilla yogurt
Utensils:
Knife
Spoon

Directions:
Peel banana, orange, and strawberry, slice each into the bowl….add yogurt….sprinkle coconut on top.
Add nuts if desired.
Snack #8……. Lizzy’s Mini Pizza Delight
Prep: Time 10 - 12 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
I English muffin or bagel cut in half
Slice of ham ( optional )
Slice of cheese
Ketchup
Chopped onion
Green pepper
Utensils:
Knife
Oven (ask an adult to help )
Baking sheet
Chopping board |

Directions:
Have an adult set oven for 250 degrees.
Put some ketchup on both slices of English muffin or Bagel……( meat on top if desired )
Put cheese on top. And then some onion and pepper. Add more cheese on top.
Put on the baking sheet and put into the heated oven and bake for 6-8 minutes.
Remove when cheese starts to melt and bubble. Let cool for a few minutes till you
can handle them safely.
Snack #9……Strawberry Explosion Shake
Prep: Time 10 minutes ( have an adult help )
Serves 1
Ingredients:
2 heaping spoons of your favourite breakfast drink ( Strawberry or chocolate )
½ cup of 2% milk
½ cup of vanilla yogurt
Fresh strawberries ( different fruits and yogurt flavours to add more fun to your shake )

Large cup

Directions:
Have an adult help you clean and slice the strawberries, mix all ingredients in blender till smooth.
